KT Women’s Health & Fitness was established on the NSW Central Coast back in 2013 by owner and trainer, Katie McDonald.
It began as KT Personal Training for Women and was born out of a desire to help people achieve their goals - not just physically but in their whole life.
Katie believes that when people start to exercise and feel good within themselves, it spreads to their everyday life. Watching how happy they become is truly amazing and her favourite part of her job!
Her approach to women’s health and fitness is simple…

How it all began…
Growing up, I always struggled with my weight.
Don’t get me wrong, I was never overweight, just a little chubby. To the point where I felt uncomfortable and was always chasing silly goals.
I was always very active. I played sports and I loved the gym! But where I fell down (as most of us do) was knowing how to fuel my body properly to help me reach my goals.
Part of the reason I became a Personal Trainer was to learn more about exercise and nutrition and how, if we look at them as two things that go hand-in-hand, I could use them to get the results I was after.
But once I completed my course, I found a new love.
I wanted to help other women feel as comfortable as I did and learn how to perform exercises correctly.
As the years have passed, I’ve learnt more and more about training and nutrition, including just how important a healthy balance of both is!
And then I became a Mum…
After having my daugher Lila, my eyes were opened as to how little help there was out there for women who wanted to get back into exercise safely. The lack of education out there around women’s postnatal health was startling.
And so, KT Women’s Health and Fitness was born.
Now my little gym not only welcomed women of all ages and fitness levels, but created a safe place for women to be able to bring their babies and focus on themselves for just 40 minutes of the day.
Together, we work on the pelvic floor and regaining strength and fitness safely, to help our Mum’s with the busy lives they lead.
So, regardless of whether you’re looking to get stronger, slimmer, fitter, or faster, or you just want a safe haven where you can exercise without the judgement and socialise with like-minded ladies, my little gym is just the one for you!
